Family Time

Got to spend lots of time with my daughters, their sons and husbands during the 1st quarter of 2024. It was rewarding and a little bit exhausting. It is always good to see them all grow into amazing people!

I am a grandmother

My daughter Hillary and her husband Nick gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on August 7th, 2023. His name is Lucas Miles . He is a wonder and appears to be a replica of his father. I am thrilled to be able to enjoy this new phase of life in this role. I just am not sure what I want to be called. My plan is to let Lukey decide what my grandmother name should be for all the other future grandchildren my offspring produce.

Fall is gorgeous in our neighborhood!

In recent years, the fall “Leaf Peak” was a let down with most trees in the area losing their leaves prior to turning color. Storms and wind just blew them away. But this year, gorgeous, it sure lifts my spirits.

Finally getting back to my own website

I know why Lucienne ALWAYS wore make-up! You feel better about yourself because you look “more put together”. I wore make-up everyday when I worked in a hospital and when I left that job and went into another environment, I didn’t. Of course, I didn’t look in the mirror either. Everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin and I realized that at this point in my life, I can use the boost that make-up provides.
